ScaleOut Software offers several leading distributed caching and distributed data grid products and options for Windows, Linux, and Solaris operating systems. ScaleOut SessionServer™ provides a perfect solution for customers who want a fast, reliable, and transparent means of storing ASP.NET session-state. ScaleOut StateServer® adds a full set of powerful APIs to enable a complete distributed caching solution for any serializable data. Grid Computing Edition™ provides all the functionality of ScaleOut StateServer, plus gives the user access to additional APIs for executing parallel methods directly on cached data. All products are offered in several configurations to fit your needs. From the Professional Edition for server farms with two servers to the largest Data Center Edition for farms with up to 64 servers, or more, ScaleOut Software's products scale directly with your operations, providing continuous growth in storage capacity and performance. ScaleOut GeoServer®, ScaleOut Remote Client, and the ScaleOut Management Pack™ further enhance the usability of our mainstream products. Finally, a support and maintenance subscription is available and highly recommended for all products.

Pre-sales support for Grid Computing Edition includes a 60 day evaluation key and support for configuration, installation and free consultation regarding use cases and theory of operation. Free consultation limited to 2 hours.
(1) Large multi-processor pricing applies where any server in a server farm running ScaleOut Software server products has 8 or more processors. The fee is an additional 25% of the total base license fee for each multiple of 8 processors. For this purpose the number of processors will be counted as the cores within a processor (e.g. a quad core processor will be counted as four processors). Examples: a 4 processor server would result in no additional fee, an 8 processor server would result in a 25% fee, a 12 processor server would still be a 25% fee, and a 16 processor server would result in a 50% fee. If multiple servers have 8 or more processors, large multi-processor pricing is only applied once to the license for that farm. Maintenance for multi-processor support is 25% of the additional license fee.
(2) ScaleOut StateServer Grid Computing Edition includes all the features of the Ecommerce editions, plus the Parallel Method Invocation API that enables data-parallel programs to implement "map/reduce" semantics on a queried set of cached objects. Also included is ScaleOut Management Pack™. Grid Computing Edition includes a higher level of pre-sales and post-sales support, as noted in the pre-sales note above and note 4 below.
(3) ScaleOut SessionServer provides transparent storage for ASP.NET session-state. It has all the same features as ScaleOut StateServer, except that access to the APIs for storing data other than ASP.NET session-state is not included. ScaleOut SessionServer is available only for Windows operating systems.
(4) Standard Support & Maintenance is available for all products and is highly recommended. Subscriptions cover a one year period and are renewable. Standard Support & Maintenance for Ecommerce editions and ScaleOut SessionServer includes email and phone support for reported issues within operating specifications, early notification of new products, prioritized consideration of requested features, plus all major and minor releases. Standard Support & Maintenance for Grid Computing Edition includes the same services, plus up to 8 hours of consultation. Learn more about our support and maintenance services.
