ScaleOut Software offers several leading in-memory data grid (IMDG) products and optional extensions for use with the Windows and Linux operating systems and in public clouds. Our flagship product, ScaleOut StateServer®, offers a comprehensive set of powerful APIs to enable a complete IMDG solution for a wide range of data accessed by Java, .NET, or C/C++ applications. In addition to providing all the functionality of ScaleOut StateServer, ScaleOut Analytics Server™ (SOAS) gives the user access to additional APIs for near real-time analytics, including parallel map/reduce analysis of grid data. (SOAS also includes access to the ScaleOut Management Pack™.) ScaleOut hServer™ integrates with Hadoop to provide fast access to live data for faster analysis. ScaleOut SessionServer™ provides a cost-effective solution for Windows customers who need a fast, reliable, and transparent means of storing ASP.NET session-state. You can extend our core IMDG products with ScaleOut GeoServer®, ScaleOut Remote Client, and the ScaleOut Management Pack™, each of which adds important optional features.
All products are offered in several configurations to fit your needs. From the Professional Edition for server farms with two servers to the largest Data Center Edition for farms with up to 64 servers, or more, ScaleOut Software's products scale directly with your operations, providing continuous growth in storage capacity and performance. A support and maintenance subscription is available and highly recommended for all products.
Beginning with Version 5, ScaleOut products are available in public clouds with the full feature set offered in our on-premises versions. Pricing is listed below for both on-premises versions and cloud versions running in Windows Azure™ and Amazon Web Services. Licensing for use in Windows Azure requires a perpetual or annual subscription license, which is purchased directly from ScaleOut Software. To license for use in Amazon Web Services, subscribe on an hourly basis at the AWS Marketplace.

Free consultation is limited to 8 hours.
(1) Large multi-processor pricing applies where any server in a server farm running ScaleOut Software server products has more than 8 processors. The fee is an additional 25% of the total base license fee for each multiple of 8 processors. For licensing purposes, the number of processors includes the cores within a processor (e.g., a quad core processor is counted as four processors). Examples: an 8 processor server incurs no additional fee, a 10 or 16 processor server incurs a 25% fee, and a 24 processor server incurs a 50% fee. If multiple servers have more than 8 processors, large multi-processor pricing is only applied once to the license for that farm. Maintenance for multi-processor support is 25% of the additional license fee.
(2) ScaleOut Analytics Server includes all the features of ScaleOut StateServer, plus support for data analytics, including Parallel Method Invocation ("map/reduce") analysis on a queried set of cached objects. Analytics Server comes enabled with one Remote Client connection to allow remote management. Also included is ScaleOut Management Pack™. Analytics Server includes a higher level of pre-sales and post-sales support, as noted in the pre-sales note above and Note 4 below.
(3) ScaleOut SessionServer provides transparent storage for ASP.NET session-state on Windows. It has all the same features as ScaleOut StateServer, except that access to the APIs for storing data other than ASP.NET session-state is not included. ScaleOut SessionServer is available only for Windows operating systems.
(4) Standard Support & Maintenance is available for all products and is highly recommended. Subscriptions cover a one year period and are renewable. Learn more about our support and maintenance services.
(5) Gold and Platinum Support & Maintenance require a current subscription for Standard Support & Maintenance and are offered under a separate subscription. Learn more about out support and maintenance services.
(6) Custom development options include consulting, performance tuning, proof-of-concept and other development projects. Also, support services can be customized to include additional services as needed when available from ScaleOut Software. Custom support and services are offered under a separate contract.
(7) Annual subscriptions are available for all products as shown. Subscriptions are offered for a full year only, and the annual subscription amount is due at the time of purchase.
(8) Selected ScaleOut products are available in Amazon Web Services (AWS) at the prices shown at the Amazon Web Services Marketplace. In AWS, ScaleOut is provisioned on dedicated AWS server instances to form an in-memory data grid of the desired size. Pricing for ScaleOut instances includes unlimited connections to the ScaleOut in-memory data grid from application or Web servers running ScaleOut Remote Client, which is required to access to the data grid. Pricing shown for AWS includes ScaleOut Standard Support and Maintenance. (9) ScaleOut hServer is available as a free Community Edition and in several commercial editions by annual subscription (including support). The Community Edition is limited to four servers and total data set size of 64GB per server.
