Use Familiar .NET APIs for Data-Parallel Computing on an In-Memory Data Grid
Check out this article in VisualStudio Magazine which explains how ScaleOut StateServer Pro® extends the well-known Parallel ForEach API in .NET’s Task Parallel Library to run on an in-memory data grid. This exciting new capability takes advantage of a familiar API to transparently scale data-parallel computing across the grid. Called Distributed ForEach, this API enables much larger data sets to be analyzed, takes full advantage of grid’s scalable processing power, and keeps data motion across the network to a minimum.
