In-Memory Computing Leader Poised to Grow With Rising Demand for Operational Intelligence and the Internet of Things

BELLEVUE, Wash., March 31, 2015 – ScaleOut Software, a leading provider of in-memory computing software, today announced that Chris Villinger has joined the company as vice president, business development and marketing. Villinger joins ScaleOut from Royal Philips in the Netherlands and brings more than 20 years of marketing and technology leadership experience to the role.

During his tenure at Royal Philips in Amsterdam and Eindhoven, Villinger held roles as global director of online, countries and planning for the overall conglomerate, global director of marketing content management for the lighting business unit and global director of market-to-order commercial excellence in markets. Prior to Philips, Villinger worked for Teleplan International, a Dutch electronics warranty repair and logistics company, on business development and corporate strategy. Villinger also held roles at Microsoft Corporation where he focused on developer marketing and was an integral member of the Windows 2000 launch team.
