Caching of Recently Accessed Objects

Running as a distributed, in-memory object store, ScaleOut StateServer naturally enjoys performance benefits over slower disk-based storage. We have now further boosted performance with new caching technology that keeps recently accessed objects immediately available on each server. Object caching has been fully integrated with our patented replica storage to minimize memory usage and to accelerate access requests. You can allocate just the amount of cache memory needed by your application.

ScaleOut StateServer’s caching also reduces networking traffic by avoiding remotely accessing objects whenever possible. All together, this exciting new capability gives your applications faster response times and lower networking overhead.

Optimized Network Performance

Version 1.2 also optimizes network communications to deliver substantially enhanced network throughput over previous versions. This enables ScaleOut StateServer to more rapidly handle access requests and further speed up your application.

Other Improvements
